With a name like Planet 7, you expect something out of this world!
Are you in for a stellar experience – or a typical earthly one?
Investigate with us in our Planet 7 review!
About Planet 7
- Planet 7 launched in 2008.
- The brand is one of three owned by Ace Revenue Group.
- As a Costa Rica company (where they’re also licensed), US players are welcome on the site.
- Their games run on the Real Time Gaming software.
The website displays a red, yellow, and black theme, making it visually attractive. It’s also responsive and easy to navigate.
You can contact the company directly via:
- Live Chat
- Email – help@planet7casino.com
What Games Does Planet 7 Offer?
Planet 7 offers games in the following categories:
- Automated Casino Table Games
- Slots
Surprisingly, there aren’t any live casino games here, though you’ll still find exciting jackpots waiting to be won!
Let’s take a peek at the options.
Automated Casino Table Games
Although there are a decent number of automated casino table games, we don’t think anyone will praise Real Time Gaming’s graphics any time soon.
This is made worse by the lack of options for blackjack players to choose from. They’re stuck with Suit ‘Em Up Blackjack and Blackjack + Perfect Pairs.
Roulette players are also unlucky, as the only game available is European Roulette. Though baccarat players – who aren’t catered for at all – are even less lucky!
Fortunately, poker players have many options. These include:
- Tri Card Poker
- Jacks or Better
- Joker Poker
- Deuces Wild
- All American Poker
- And more!
Additionally, in an attempt to make up for the lack of games, Planet 7 allows registered members to play for free in Practice Mode.
Slots
It seems there’s a scarcity of games on Planet 7 in general – even the slots are in short supply!
Don’t expect to see any new ones added in the foreseeable future, either. Interplanetary game supplies have dried up.
Nevertheless, the simple slot designs sometimes shine with a lively spin on a few of the games.
And despite only offering Real Time Gaming slots, there are still a few jackpots waiting to be discovered!
However, overall, you might rely on Practice Mode to find a slot you enjoy playing.
Luckily you can do so without making a deposit first. This means you can decide risk-free if it’s worth moving to Planet 7!
Playing at Planet 7
Planet 7’s member’s area carries over the same simple design and responsiveness from the main site, including the colors. It’s also optimized for playing through a smartphone or tablet browser.
This is good, as the brand doesn’t offer dedicated mobile apps!
The Planet 7 VIP Program, on the other hand, is said to be out of this world – though perhaps news travels slowly across the solar system.
Like most casino rewards systems, you earn points by making deposits and wagering real cash. Over time, you’ll level up and unlock additional benefits.
If you find these VIP rewards worth the limited game options, start the account verification process ASAP. You can’t play for money otherwise!
Planet 7 Reviews – What Are People Saying?
Graphics and limited game options aren’t the only issues Planet 7 is having. They also have a low player rating of 3.7/10 stars.
One player, who aptly named themselves “ThisPlaceSucks,” says the only nice thing about the site is the live chat’s quick responses.
The robotic, unhelpful nature of those responses, however…
On top of that, the player complains the payouts take forever because they ask you to resubmit all of your verification documents.
“KaneDogRamsey” is even more fed up with the site. He made a deposit, enjoyed a few wins, and then fought for months to get Planet 7 to approve the documents they asked him to resubmit.
After all of that, the site claimed his winnings were invalid, pretending they never received his deposit in the first place.
”Kristo77” had a similar experience, with Planet 7 endlessly asking the same questions and making empty promises that his withdrawal issues were being escalated.
“JohnnyGotTheBone” says while the payout is slow, it eventually arrives. Unlike those waiting for months, he got his within ten days – and received excellent customer support.
He does add that playing on an iPhone makes the site lag sometimes, and if you want the same great support, stick to live chat instead of emails.
And “Chimal” says if you ask the live chat when the payout department is in business, you’ll have better luck getting your withdrawals.
They can still take a long time to process – up to a month – but if sent by check, you can trust Fed-Ex to at least deliver it within a few days.
Unfortunately, Planet 7 seems outdated, doesn’t have any live dealer games and the reviews aren’t that good so we would recommend checking out our list of the best online casinos here instead.
