Grosvenor Casino is no stranger to players in the UK, as they have a long history as a walk-in casino chain!
But can you expect the County Club treatment as an online member?
Find out in our Grosvenor Casino review!
About Grosvenor Casino
- It isn’t clear when the Grosvenor Casino site originally launched, but the parent company (by the same name) was founded in 1970.
- Originally named County Clubs, the chain of casinos (with more than 50 locations in the UK and 2 in Belgium) is part of the Rank Group.
- The Rank Group is also responsible for Mecca Bingo (online and walk-in venues) and the Rank Initiative online gambling and sports betting site.
- Grosvenor Casino operates under a UK Gambling Commission license, as well as The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (licenses 13 C1 & C2) for players outside of Great Britain.
- Their games run on the Microgaming software.
- There are a number of ongoing promotions, which are occasionally added to with limited/seasonal campaigns.
The website is well-designed, making it easy to navigate and responsive. You can also connect with them on social media:

What Games Does Grosvenor Casino Offer?
Grosvenor Casino offers more than 250 games in the following categories:
- Live Casino Games
- Automated Casino Table Games
- Slots
Within these categories, you’ll find exciting jackpots and progressive jackpots and Daily and Mega Jackpots!
For those interested in sports betting or bingo, the website also includes separate sections dedicated to both.
Let’s take a peek at the categories mentioned above!
Live Casino Games
Grosvenor Casino offers a decent selection of live casino games, with bets ranging from £0.10 to £10,000.00. Some rooms are also available in other languages, most notably Hindi and Arabic.
With over 50 years of experience in the casino industry, it’s no surprise there are many options catering to poker players. You’ll find standard options, such as Casino Hold’em, Texas Hold’em, and 3 Card Poker – plus many others!
Likewise, with blackjack easily rivaling poker as the most popular casino card game, you’ll find many variations to meet your preferences.
In addition to a Free Bet Blackjack game, we also saw popular alternatives to Classic Blackjack, such as Immersive Blackjack and Speed Blackjack.
Similarly, roulette lovers are spoiled for choice with multiple variations as well! Here’s a small sampling:
- Immersive Roulette
- Speed Roulette
- Lightning Roulette
- And more!
Baccarat players aren’t left behind either. We saw familiar favorites, such as Dragon Tiger and Speed Baccarat, among others.
And of course, a live casino section isn’t complete without a selection of live game shows! At Grosvenor Casino, these include:
- Crazy Time
- Monopoly Live
- Mega Ball
- Deal or No Deal
- Dream Catcher
- And more!
Automated Casino Games
Not everyone is a fan of playing with live dealers, so Grosvenor Casino included a decent selection of automated casino table games as well.
You’ll find many of the same roulette options in this category as in the live casino section!
In addition to the classic Casino Roulette and European Roulette, we also saw variations like Key Bet Roulette and Turbo Roulette.
Blackjack and poker players won’t be disappointed either. Some variations of both include:
- Casino Blackjack
- Atlantic City Blackjack
- Multihand Blackjack
- Multihand Poker
- Ultimate X Poker
- And more (for both)!
Baccarat players might find more options here than in the live casino category. In addition to those mentioned above, we also saw Punto Banco and No Commission Baccarat rooms.
Not familiar with these casino games and don’t want to risk losing money learning how to play? Grosvenor Casino allows registered members to practice for free with Demo Mode!
While you won’t win any money (or even bonuses) in Demo Mode, you can use it to get a basic understanding of any available automated casino table game.
Slots
Slots are the heart and soul of any casino.
Surprisingly, Grosvenor Casino isn’t taking advantage of that fact. While they have a decent number of slots on their site, there are far fewer than most of their competitors offer.
However, the site does regularly add new slots to their repertoire.
And one area they certainly exceed most of the competition is in giving informative descriptions and guides for each individual slot!
This is something we rarely see, and new players will certainly appreciate it.
You’ll also appreciate that registered members can practice the slots in Demo Mode – just like with the automated casino table games!
As for the slots themselves, the available collection includes daily, mega, and progressive jackpots.
These are clearly marked with a banner tag in the lobby (and usually with “jackpot” in the slot name), making them easy to find – though they share a similar color with the Classic Slots.
Speaking of the classics, among them are familiar favorites like Starburst.
You’ll also find other popular slots, sometimes without the banner tags, plus a few Microgaming slots developed exclusively for Grosvenor Casino.
Playing at Grosvenor Casino
We had difficulties with the registration and ID verification processes. So unfortunately, we weren’t able to get a firsthand look at the member’s area.
However, if the main site is anything to go by, we’re certain it’s well-designed and responsive!
The site also works well on mobile and tablet browsers.
But for a better experience, you’ll want to install Grosvenor Casino’s Award Winning App. There are actually three to choose from: the Live Casino App, Automated Casino App, and Poker Online Games App.
So depending on the games you play, you might install two – or all three of them.
All three apps are available for Android and iOS users. You can download the apps through the links on the Grosvenor Casino website.
Whether playing on the site or through one of the apps, poker lovers can take advantage of the Poker VIP Club.
While playing poker games with real money (not bonuses or in Demo Mode), you’ll earn 10 Status points for every €1 paid in rake/fee.
These Status Points (or SPs) will dictate your VIP Club Level. There are several VIP tiers, and leveling up through these will unlock progressively better rewards and perks for you to enjoy.
Grosvenor Casino Reviews – What Are People Saying?
We couldn’t see player activity due to the difficulties in registering. However, others were more successful – and 29 of them felt strongly enough about the site to leave a review.
We always expect a mixed bag of happy and unhappy customer feedback. This was certainly the case for Grosvenor Casino, with an average user-rating of 6.7/10 stars!
“Logrinac” considers the casino a joke, complaining their account was suspended because they made a large deposit.
When reaching out for clarification, support was unresponsive, leaving the user confused, frustrated, and without access to their money to either play or withdraw:
“Kynod” feels differently about Grosvenor Casino’s support, but still gave them 1 star.
This is because good support doesn’t make up for a lack of incentives to play – and the repetitive CAPTCHA exercises at every login will drive anyone insane:
“LRMNT,” on the other hand, feels the site deserves 10 stars for being well run and offering speedy withdrawals to PayPal.
They also appreciate that, after being verified by Grosvenor Casino, they weren’t required to go through the lengthy process again when using their sister sites:
Meanwhile, “EvilJesus” found in 2016 the withdrawal process was just as quick, with the only delays being due to how Natwest is set up.
Plus, the staff was always as nice as the games!
And a now Inactive User gave a positive review in 2015, primarily for the speedy withdrawals with no pending period:
Overall, it looks like Grosvenor Casino offer a great selection of casino games to play and the reviews are mostly positive so we would recommend checking them out!
